Starting this wonderful month of giving, I will be doing my themed media Thread. Every month I will draw a random theme that I placed into my amazing hat . The Theme will determine the media I make.

I normally will have created a list of media after the drawing that I want to make that month for the theme, but I will gladly take requests in as well, hence the "requests" part of the title image (no promises that I will make all requests).

To kick off the thread with some holiday cheer. I made pie for everyone .

At least someone enjoyed the pie.

I have not 1... not 2... but 3 models to give out today. They are a snowman, wooden sled, and a cup of coco.(DOWNLOAD ATTACHED)

There has been 3 reasons for the length between posts in this thread.

1. The more recent one, is I have been compiling together commands used in fpe and fps files for a thread I will make later on.

2. I have been making a character\monster for this thread inspired by one in a game I have been playing. Results... not appealing see pic.

3. said game I mentioned was SKYRIM (one of the most life draining games I have played to date)

actually that was the least of my worries when working with it at that point. My main interest was to get it ragdoll ready and that was the result when it finally ragdolled after crashing FPSC about 20 times from previous tests.

It is now rigged with verts assigned properly and just needs animation. unfortunately, it will not be ragdoll compatible.

Gamer x if you are using blender for your animations it will not be compatible. Fpsc is looking for the limbs that 3ds, milkshape give out, but blender does Amature_bonename and fpsc cannot read that for ragdoll. I have yet to find a way to fix that part. I have asked Hockeykid for blender armature support and he said that he would look into it. Might shoot him an email and see how it's going on that.

Not true. I have been setting character models up with ragdoll not long after ragdoll was add to FPSC. When setting up a bone structure all that needs to be done is making the bones Hinged. this allows for ragdoll to work when model is exported over to FPSC. The only problem is that if you miss just one bone it will cause FPSC to crash if you try to use ragdoll on the character. Now this does however prevent lipsync from working with blender made characters.

To prove it, I will make a video showing a simple rigged model with ragdoll.

Could you make a nice cristmas Pudding, as my solderiers are begging for one as they have been stuck on the same map for over 3 months, Poor guys

i have managed to send in a plane to drop them some wine and cakes and plenty of ammo so they can enjoy an Open Season
But no model of a puddy

But a nice christmas pudding would put a smile on there face, or i would have to cough out on sending them to a seaside ressort to get there morral back up, either way they will have Sand between their toes.

Joking aside, i like you media good works and look forward to seing more.

I'am not GOD but i can make you see again by taking my fingers out of your eyes and i can make you walk again by taking your beer away, but if you take my beer you will not walk again

Thanks for the comments everyone. I normally do all of my modeling during the weekends when I am not tired out by my job just so you all know.

@J Swain, I can make one and have the perfect image drawn up in my head of what I will make it look like.

@spudnick, of coarse I will whip up some pudding in my modeling kitchen.

on a off topic note: Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to everyone on the forum and to the many men, women, and robots in the Military. I salute you.

Doing some great work here Gamer X, you know I have been following your work and I love it. Keep going, add some whipped cream on that pudding That should provide a nice modeling kitchen challenge.

With the year at an end I think it is time to move inside for my last 2 models of 2011. Here is a Big Comfy Chair and a Wood stove.

And look at the First Post to see the Theme for the First month of 2012

Well another month comes to a close and I have backed myself into yet another corner. So The next few months won't be themed and I won't be around the forums (maybe stop in every now and then). I am going to use this time to finish some of my piles of stuff to-do. Any requests from anyone please refer to the Available Artists for Free Work thread, or just e-mail me. As for this I give 3 new models for all of you.

Specular maps are way too bright. Makes everything look like metallic. Good work though.
