i was wondering about the legal uses of "Dark Basic" in producing a game or application. having db in the credits i would understand to be legal, but i am concerned about an openning scene. having something like "Dark Basic Production" or "Dark Basic Creation", something along the lines of this. also if having it a commercial app or not would have any effect to this. just want to make sure i dont cross any legal lines that could put myself or Dark Basic in jeopordy.

explain a bit more

DarkBASIC Pro doesn't come with an EULA License prohibiting or dictating terms on how you use it. Essentially like most other languages once you've bought it your pretty much free to do whatever you like within the current computer laws.
ie you can't create a virus with it or something else that the intent is to damage someones system

you aren't required to show thier logo, and i'm guessing it would be oki if you wished to ... however you wouldn't be able to put something like "In Association with The Game Creators" if they haven't actually given your permission to do such.

like i said above... in an openning scene for a game... having it say "A Dark Basic Creation" or "A Dark Basic Production"

like many games have companies and their logos before the game actually starts... kind of leaving the subject broad because i would like to know the full extent of it... just so i dont end up getting in trouble 20 years down the road or something

if you make it with dark basic then having creation there would be oki i guess... production wouldn't, because they're not producers
