Vent worms, aka Tube worms, that are found on or near hydrothermal vents in the deep ocean. I did these a while back and can't remember why I made them characters but...hey...they can be shot and killed if you like.

If you all want any of the other creatures from this game, lemme know. I've got arctic starfish, hydrothermal vents, sea rocks, copepods that glow when you get near them, and a bunch of other odds and ends. I've already released the submarine.

The angler fish was just for the poster. In the actual game you are the angler fish. I did make a weapon - the angler fish lure but it is kinda funky and I can't imagine it being too useful to anyone.

These will be a great little addition! Perfect
Thanks man.

One question. Can they inflict pain? (I am thinking of having them block a hallway and the player needs to kill them in order to pass)

Thanks MichaelX and unfamillia! They could definitely inflict pain. They easiest way, if you plan on using them as a boundary would be to place a hurt zone over them though you could write a script that would sync their animation with a strike. Maybe they would remain motionless until the player gets within a certain area. I wish I had made an attack animation but it wasn't within the scope of my project and in reality they are docile. But if used as an alien entity, which they could certainly become, there's no reason why they shouldn't attack. Reminds me of some of the creatures in Half Life.
