You could make a trick with images, but that slows down fps() . Have a look to this example.
ink rgb(100,100,100),0
box 0,0,100,100
ink rgb(80,80,80),0
box 4,0,100,96
get image 1,0,0,100,100,1
autocam off
sync on
set ambient light 50
for i= 1 to 30
make object box i,1,1,1
position object i,rnd(30),1,rnd(30)
color object i,rgb(rnd(255),rnd(255),rnd(255))
next i
make object box 31,50,0,50
texture object 31,1:scale object texture 31,20,20
position object 31,25,0,25
position camera 0,5,0
do
set cursor 0,0
print screen fps()
get image 2,280,200,360,210,1
paste image 2,280+rnd(1),200+rnd(1)
get image 3,280,210,360,220,1
paste image 3,280-rnd(1),210-rnd(1)
get image 4,280,180,360,190,1
paste image 4,280+rnd(1),180-rnd(1)
control camera using arrowkeys 0,0.1,0.1
a#=wrapvalue(a#+mousemovex()/2)
cam#=wrapvalue(cam#+mousemovey()/2)
rotate camera cam#,a#,0
if leftkey() then move camera left 0.1
if rightkey() then move camera right 0.1
sync
loop
Cheers.
