I just tried to download the latest AppGameKit Player for Android and get an error message saying "Package file was not signed correctly".

Just had a look around some Android forums and apparently if you installed the beta version from your order history and then tried to install the version from the store it will fail. You'll need to uninstall any previous version before downloading the one on the store.

I downloaded mine from the store. But uninstalling it and then reinstalling worked.

BTW, what's new? Wouldn't hurt if you included that information in the Market next time

I can't find the new version in my app drawer, but Market says it's installed and I can run it from there.

The screen orientation is now upside down.

I tried a new method to detect the correct orientation without needing the calibration screen. Looks like it didn't work so I've reinstated the calibration mode when first run.

Any idea why it's not visible in my app drawer?

It's weird that AppGameKit have problems with the screen rotation. I have not seen a single app using a screen calibration.

My phone came with 2.3.4 installed. There's even 2.3.5 available but I've heard some having problems with it so I haven't installed it.

It's carrier, phone and manufacturer specific. Only way to guarantee fast updates is buying a Nexus phone.

Just got a notification on a new version. Installed perfectly, shows up in the drawer and the orientation is back to normal
