OK here's my compo entry. It pushes the maximum media allowed (I got like 190 k). Controls are basic mousemove fps movement with cursor keys. Click mouse to start the game.

Here's a screenshot:

and here's the game:

Thats pretty good for 20 lines, just the gunshots don't seem to be that accurate. Like the music !

I just re-uploaded it with a target and mellowed out mousemovement.

I just updated the file again. Now it get's progressively harder (the zombies appear faster) but the ammo doesn't dissappear until you get it.

This could be a pretty sweet game if you took it out of the 20 line challenge and added more stuff.

That's what I kept thinking... But it's cool to make full sliding collision in 1 line. It's a good excersize. Like sit-ups. Maybe I should try sit-ups...

I think it would be good if you changed the program to use 3d models of zombies instead of an image. I you made one big level that had some kind of story line (like kill all the zombies so you can stop the zombies from killing all humans).
Now of course this isn't ment for the 20 line challenge but I ment for fun.

Well yeah if I went outside 200k I could do a lot of things with it. Not only are they flat images, but they are 16 color 128x128. something like 9k each. They WILL eat your brains though, first chance they get.

Nice little 20 liner that
Reminds me a little of the start of House of the Dead (well, I did say a little)
I reckon like some of the others you could really add to this and make this a great game with proper models etc
Go for it !!
