hello guys,

is there any RAM use limitation with fpsc engine?

something like the engine cannot use more than 4 gb of RAM ? because it lagg with fpsc when u have a good processor a good graphic card and 8 gb of RAM so i found this strange

FPSC is a windows 32 bit application. All 32 bit applications are limited to 1.85 gigs of memory no matter how much your machine has. But there is a work around. Use the search bar below and type "1.85" (without quotes) and look for the one with tutorial.

Edit: typically I find lag is caused more by video memory than ram, what are your specs?

not only gpu, also cpu (the 1 core used) is very hard working for fpsc when it comes to entity-calculation. the faster the single core is the better. i have an amd 8x2,8ghz, and a buddy of me only intel-dual 2x3,4ghz. my game is running a few frames better on his machine than on mine when no other big progs are opened.
