What do you mean by that?

Also, where do you see Power Rangers?

Regardless, I have UV unwrapped and I am currently texturing.

left field means unexpected... or not understood... ie wheres that from?

Power ragers had that style of handle just saying

where did you get the inspiration for it?

However I love the dip in the middle... umm forgot the exact word right now... engraving... ummm indenting? mm carving? never mind... the blade is nice though...

Ah, gotcha,

The sale is a thank you / Christmas sale. Unexpected for me too, excellent program. Normally 995.

The inspiration, hm... I dunno, I just kinda made it, no reference image, no plan, just wanted to play with Modo and made it.

Texturing progress.

I actually like that texture more...

Do you mean you got the application called Modo for £995 / $995 (obviously you said discounted but at what price did you get it for? and can you link to its website please?)

Also are you using a translation program for your posts? so English is not your native language? just the impression I got... sorry if I misunderstood but excellent work man... what formats are you exporting this to? and is this intended for any particular engine? FPSC or DBPro or general multi format?

Would love to load this model up and use it to experiment with shader effects!!! might even find a use for it in a game for which I would gladly pay for its specific use... maybe an ornament... £1? £5? do you own the textures or are they generic packed with and free to use textures or did you make them yourself...?

I could see this being a part of a nice game intro menu!!!! woooo got so many ideas for this now!!! I WANT!!! ME WANT!!!

[Valentine restrain yourself]
[I can not help it my brain is not fully active right now and its 03:15am!!]

Here is the sword using Modo's default materials.

I didn't see your post when I made this.

English is my native language, I am just short with time. (I am on my break from work at the moment, and I had a short amount of time.) Modo is a program made by Luxology.

http://www.luxology.com/index.aspx

Normally $995, down to $595, $645 after tax.

The model and render was done in Modo, I did not leave once for this.

I'll release the model for free, I'll post in .obj and .x, more file formats upon request.

What I mean is I did not do anything outside of modo. I plan on baking the texture and editing it slightly to make it appear better for games. the texture is 1k and i dont know the tris yet. Ill post it all up in about 2 to 3 hours. I am on shift right now at work. Also you can do as you will with the image just give me credit.

Easiest explain elsewhere. Basically, it is when you take materials, light, and other effects and bake them to a texture file.

Anyways, here is the sword in DBPro.
