FPSC Classic Product Chat / uninstall error!?

My FPSC was having issues, so I was told to over install, so I did. And everything worked great until I upgraded to full. It freaked out again, not even allowing it to open a map up. I'm trying to repair like last time, but gets hung up on messing with fpsc-mapeditor(didn't happen the first time) so I tried to uninstall, but it comes up with a catastrophic failure, what should I do?

Can you add screenshots of the error message... it might help...

Press ALT + the print screen key (while the error message is selected)

open paint and press CTRL+V

then save as jpg and add here

Its an error with my map-editor.exe. it says it doesnt have access to the files(its locked)

Or can you?

Did you run as administrator?

Can you tell me your system specs?... Mainly your OS and whether its 32bit or 64bit

I can't repair OR uninstall. Its not mine, in using my parents until I get a laptop. I think its an xp, 32 bit.

Are you using the main account or an admin account?... Is it using SP3?

Service Pack 3...

Hope someone jumps in soon... as I no longer have any answers anymore as I no longer use XP and can not relate to using TGC products on it... I have a full licence for it on one laptop which is old... but XP is sooooooooo slow for it and unresponsive... win7 just does everything on it and doesnt BSOD on me

if your familiar with registry editing you could delete the fpsc entry and that will allow you to clean install... I did not want to mention this as other than a system format and reinstall this is a second to last resort...
And is strictly for advanced users only... or someone usinga tutorial that is very detailed.

Hope this helped anyway... if you want me to try for it I can install fpsc on my dud pc and filter for the registry entries...
