So there I was, just chilling in the Newark airport in Jersey awaiting my flight back to ohio, when I noticed an old man sitting on a bench feeding a pigeon. But we were indoors!

@MrValentine - Please stop trying to peddle your blog. I've seen more and more posts by you asking people to visit your blog.

Its verging on spam.

Not really, You have a link in your signature, and thats fine really.
Its starting to feel like you're just posting as an excuse to link to your blog. (Its probably not the case, but its still very spammy)

People shouldn't have to click to read your blog on a forum post to view your thoughts on a topic.
If you want to put some input into a thread, then great! However "Go to my blog to view my thoughts" isn't what a forum is all about.

You can link to something if you've put enough effort into your post. I've just seen a couple of posts recently by you that have been incredibly brief, but asking people or linking to your blog.
Its something I won't tolerate, because it starts to become spam. (I wouldn't let anyone else get away with it)

Not having a massive go, its just that I can see it getting out of hand, so I'm asking before it becomes a problem.

Cheers!

Sorry for that its just sometimes I am writing on my phone... and if youve tried it ... you will know what I mean... but you can see its only recently and when I did mention it it was because I had strangely written something relavent just recently... weird that no?

But I respect your view... I will either copy from my blog and just add a link to the actual post and not mention to go see my blog as I had... I can understand how it might be annoying and spammy... thanks for being understanding and not slapping me immediately... I am just trying ro help too... I am learning a lot lately... so I shall adhere to your caution and hope I do not overstep your boundary again anytime soon... sorry.

EDIT

if you were in town you would get one of these right now

Well in a way, posting "Lol go look at my blog" in all the posts has the reverse affect (People would start to avoid it!). You'll probably do a lot better by just forming concise and worthwhile inputs (which I know you are capable of doing) and people will find you interesting enough to click on your signature.

I often look at someone's personal blog from their signature if they've posted something interesting in their forum post, no link or mention of the blog in the post necessary!

Pigeons are actually Rock Doves. You don't have to live in a town to see them, they live on allsorts of rocky outcrops. Buildings just provide a convenient rock face for them to live on.

We don't really have pigeons around my city, so I may have never seen one either if I never left home.
