how do i know if the loaded image was successfully loaded?

like i want a warning that this image wasnt successfully loaded. I know this can be done by creating a sprite but i dont want to check it myself. i think there is a code for that..

anyone?

i think there's a function called dbImageExist ( ID );, just call it after loading and see if it returns true (exists, load was ok) or false (doesn't exist, failed to load)

i remember some guy called Diggsey or something, he made some error handling system a while ago..
oh here it is
