The items I've downloaded from the store are not appearing. They were in a folder the FPS would not even inclued them. I've changed them, and now they apear in the list of entities, but when I click on them, nothing happens.

the entities are downloaded into "files/entitybank/purchased/name of author". dont change them or you have to change the fpe-path of x-file and texture. thats why you cant see anything, because the fpe cant find the model and texture in the new path. purchased-folder is generated by the shop, so you dont have to worry that it doesnt appear.

But the folder they were donwloading to was not recognized by FPS. The download folder was not appearing in the library. So I had to change them. Now, their name appears in the library, but I can't use them.

Did you use the standalone store or the one built into fpsc?

You mean if I opened FPSC and did the download from there? No, I opened the store, from the programs in (Windows) Start menu.

Ok, in the standalone store is a button under the login/register buttons called 'download settings'. Click on that and make sure the preset is set to FPSC. Now redownload your items and they will appear and work in FPSC.

Also check the 'keep zip file as back up' so that you don't use up all your downloads if you need to install it again.

Well, I've done both things, but I can't still have acess to items. FPSC recognizes the items, but I have no image to choose.

ok, i dont know why there are numbers behind the foldernames. fpsc doesnt like space-tabs (become % in code, so this could cause errors).
looks weird, the entities of the shop are located by author within my folder-structure, not all at once in a single folder... hmmm.

please show the path where these folders are located.

folder has another name and is structured by author on my side, as said, but looks ok. make a savety-copy of the whole folder and try to erase the "( number )" behind your foldernames and try again. the only thing i can get where an error can happen. if this doesnt help i am out, sorry.

I've tried, when I read your previous answer where you said you don't have numbers. Do you think the zip files back up will work?

worth a try ... but what kind of zip-backups???^^
never got those when downloading something out of the store... only the original files in the purchased-folders.

strange things happen here.

you can also try to send a mail with description and link to this thread to TGC-service, could be that they can help or explain what happened (i am still very sure that there is something wrong with your filepaths or download).

if i would own any of these models my own i would say send me entity/script/texture-sample out of them and i will look on my machine if working, but i dont have any of those and you are not allowed to share them, so tgc-service will be your best choice if no one else has a solution.

The zip file Thraxas refered to.

Don't know why it isn't possible to share the items, at least the free ones, once they are available for everyone.

Anyway, they were working fine before. It was just after I've bought a new system and installed FPSC that the problem begun.

By the way, what is the fpe-path of x-file and texture? Maybe if I try it...

I've tryed the to unzip the back up files and they are working. It's strange, though, when I go to choose a new entity, I choose downloaded items, the item I want and there is a new entity folder. And then the item I want. Very strange. But for now they are working.

There's only a problem. Some of the items are a litle grey...
