I'm having a bit of issue creating a specialized HUD for my space game. I'm using Lock Object On so that I can keep the 'cockpit' in view of the camera, but I want the main screen to represent different cameras. I've got Set Camera To Image being pasted onto the Locked object and that works fine, but it's also picking up itself. What I want is to control when the Set Camera To Image actually captures an image, that way I can properly hide all objects I don't want to show in camera 1. Perhaps there's a way to hide objects for particular cameras, if so that would also be good.

Any help is much much appreciated

You have to use masking, which is hiding certain objects from certain cameras.

You may use Set Object Mask [ObjectNumber], [Camera Bits To Draw On] to control what cameras draw the specified object.

My tutorial explains how to use these functions.
