@J Swain, thanks! I'm happy you took your time to comment. "

Good grief, is that supposed to make me feel guilty for not commenting earlier?

FYI, all of us have our complexities in life that prevent us from checking the forums every few hours or so. Give it about at least day before trying to bump your thread; it gets kinda old after awhile. Just wanted to let you know.

On topic, models are looking real good! Can't wait for more.

JaySway, I know you can get a bit anxious for people to comment, I'm the same way, but please don't double/triple post. Just give it time, you'll get that feedback.

As for the boxes, for some reason I feel like sneaking around in them.

It's only been 4 hours Jay...last warning.

Anyway, downloading and I'll give this a go. Screenshots would help sell these more.

Josh Mooney, you said that much nicer than I did. Thank you for doing so.

I'm sorry if I came across as harsh and blunt Swain

The boxes look awesome, I can certainly find a use for them! Are these boxes in the primary package, or are they a part of the extras? My bandwidth can't take any more huge downloads for a while or my ISP will reduce our bandwidth to dial-up speeds.

As for screenshots, I'll try to pull something awesome together.

Happy New Year,
Captain Coder

EDIT: Screenshot attached! How does it look?

UPDATE: I resized the screenshot and got rid of the idea of adding a "sig" (I was having too much fun with all that GIMP could do with text ). Enjoy!

Very nice screenshot, CC! I'll put it on the first post.

The boxes is included in the primary package, so is the models from Extras 1. Once i find more cardboard boxes to take photos of, i'll make even more boxes for this pack.

Yay!! Now I'll be famous!

Well, guess I'll wait another day for the boxes. Oh well.

Let's see if I can get another screenshot with some more stuff I'll also resize the first one; having to scroll the webpage to see it all is annoying.

EDIT:

Okay, redid the entire scene from the first one I posted here so that I could fit in more models and position them to look nicer. Similar to the first one, so there's no real jarring difference. I threw out the idea of adding my own "logo" to the picture (I got carried away with all that GIMP can do for text ), so here is the final screenie.

I just wanted to show that I took the screenshot but I realized how ridiculous the idea was, so the pictures are pure and clean; unedited (except for resizing), and just show off your awesome models. Enjoy.

Happy New Year!
Captain Coder

EDIT: Did my second screeny look alright? I hope I didn't ruin anything by wanting to add my own "logo".

THAT is awesome! There aren't enough clocks here for FPSC (the only one I've seen is in Bond1's Metro Theater Pack), thanks Swain!

Great! It's nice to see you continually do updates for this. Most packs are left to sit and rot; not yours!

Thanks again!

I smell a slap coming...

Swain... please be patient... I have a WIP thread which is kinda quiet but I am not spamming it and its irritating reading your emails and then rwalising four times that its you...

While I am not a mod... someone already cautioned you once already... I am just giving you a polite reminder...

People have lives beyond these forums (really? hmm) anyway we are busy with other things (like walking the dog and cleaning up after it) but try to be patient...

J Swain, your models are some of the best this forum has seen, and I'm sure others think the same. Sadly you can't always expect people to bother telling you as I'm sure others will testify.

That said, thank you and please keep it up! These really are excellent.

Aww, thankies!

I'm going over to my grandpa and grandma this weekend, and they gote loads of stuff to take pictures of, so expect alot of new stuff next week.

I'm also working on a car. It's extremely ugly and bad uvw-mapped, but i'll include it anyway, since it is my very first 3d car. The barrel in this pack is btw my very first 3d model, only with a new uvw-map and texture.

You should take this as a challenge to see what you come up with. If you don't challenge yourself, you won't learn anything new. Judging from the quality of your other models, i am sure you will produce something very nice. Give it a go and surprise yourself.
