Hi all,

I'm writing a program that requires me to load and delete multiple BlitzTerrain objects, but if I load, say, 3 objects, then delete them (both using DELETE OBJECT and BT DELETETERRAIN) my program eventually crashes just saying "DarkBasic Program has stopped working..."

It will work the first time and delete the old ones and replace them with new ones, but the second time it just locks up and crashes...

Is there something else I need to do to clear the old BlitzTerrains out of memory?

I think I reported the same issue months and months ago. Dunno if was supposed to have been fixed or not however.

(I used the free version so only one terrain for me)

I'm using the paid version kinda sucks as I've contacted them directly about it as well and gotten nothing back... Maybe they're just on holidays though... It's such an awesome plugin, I'd love to have this sorted so I can keep using it!

Could you elaborate on that?

Me?

You can load a terrains mesh into a memblock for faster access and loading and manipulation... all I know... am yet to toy with this technique myself...

It should allow you to clear it from memory with a single command... DELETE MEMBLOCK... provided you didnt copy it or anything...

Ah, Blitzterrain objects are made up of two things. One is a memory object and one is a physical object. Deleting both doesn't actually delete them from memory, it seems. That's where my error comes into play.
