@sweldon
The thing is, that is NOT how you are supposed to export stuff for FPSC.
Tutorial:
1. Do whatever you want to the milkshape3d file but do NOT export it. Instead, just save it as a ms3d file.
2. Load up the ms3d file into FragMotion and export it as a directx (.x) file.
3. Make it FPSC ready.

Here take a look at this from an old guy that has used milkshape for quite sometime. The below pic should give you what you need to export from milkshape to fpsc.

I think I see what you are doing wrong here. For an entity you need to have a fpe file for that model so the program knows what you want it to do. For a segment it is the same thing, but it needs to be a fps file. to finish making your model fpsc ready you will need one or the other to see it in the editor. Look in your folders and you should see what you need if not post what it is that is not clear.

@The Zombie Killer,
Not to be rude, but you can export directly from milkshape if you know what you are doing.

@starmind
Meh, I just find the frag way a little simpler, but I'll try your method for a bit and see how it works.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

I reject your reality and substitute my own...

Never mind all I'll figure this out on my own. Since I am now being hound for a software I purchased and am as for assistance about importing/exporting Milkshape or ms3d files to dx.x files and how to get / build the other segment, and or data file to have it show itself within the program...

this thread half way... nice
the ending...

EDIT

You could try naming your object entity the same as another similar prebuilt object and see if the fpe fpi thingy works... just a thought...

Fpe files are in your entitybank and the fps file is in your segments. To create one for your model you can copy one of the files from your entitybank or segments and paste it into the file you want and simply edit it to fit your needs.

The second way to do this would be to use the secondary software TGC has provided for free to make this easier. One is an entity workshop that will setup your model as an entity or fpsc segment creator which will setup your model as a segment. Now there are other tools that do the same thing, but some cost money and some do not. I prefer the old school ones just from habit.

Now to get those progams just click below:
Entities:
http://files2.thegamecreators.com/fpscreator/fpsc_entity_maker.zip

Segments:
http://files2.thegamecreators.com/fpscreator/FPSCreator_SegmentKit.zip

And if you need more help I would suggest that you look here.

And if you still need help I have made "SAMPLE" files for you in the download.
