I was bored so i made a retexture of the US Airborne guy and made him a medic.

He has:
-Armband
-Special Helmet
-Brown boots
-Grey Pants
-New patches on arm
-Gloves

I would release it but I can't :/
Sorry

That looks really good! Is he based off an actual WW2 Medic?

Are you sure you can't release it? People release characters with stock animations (take the Starship Troopers Community pack, for example) and even sell characters with these animations. Why would it be different for textures? I am no legal expert, so maybe you know something that I don't, but why can't you release it?

As a believer in Jesus Christ, I am trying to use my passion for game creation for His glory.

Yes he is.

Although some details are incorrectly possitioned or scaled because the uvmap is weird.

I can't release it because it still uses parts from the original texture that I didn't make.

Someone brought up the technique of creating an overlay with just the changes on it which could be applied over the original texture. I don't know what the ruling was on that or how difficult it would be with this particular texture, but it seemed like a viable work-around.

Brian.

...and that's a great re-texture.

I thought of that xplosys, but the user would need photoshop as I used things like multiply, soft light, etc.

You could delete the original base model texture layer and then save the rest in PSD. format. just about all photo editing software programs support PSD. layers, just a suggestion.

and great work on the retexture!

Best
