Morning All,

I don't seem to be able to find a decent answer to this, so am hoping for a little help.

I simply want to be able to resize a DBP window and not have all the stretching occur.

I know I will have to program around this, and that is fine. At the moment I can change the window size and monitor it (using IanM's GET WINDOW CLIENT WIDTH() etc)
So I can resize the window and adjust once a change has been made, but I cannot stop the stretching occurring while the window is being re-sized. The window loses focus and so stops reacting to the re-size until the re-size is finished, but the stretching still happens.

I just want to create a professional looking window just like any windows application where the window size can be changed without it looking like it's doggy doo.

What is the theory behind achieving this?

For 2D, you have to scale it to the correct size after a resize. Not an easy task if you have lots of 2d objects..
For 3D, use the 'Set Camera Aspect' command and it will fix the stretching.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm not sure if this fix's the problem. I can already sort everything out after it is re-sized.

The problem is that while re-sizing the window everything is stretched.

My code fix's this once the window is released (mouse is released), but while dragging the window size the program isn't correcting/isn't running (loses focus?) so it looks amateurish.

And that's the downside to DBP.
