Alright np, sent you an email. This guy has about 20-30 models he is requesting and I have no real time to help him, so see what you can do for him.

Good luck and have fun with the models. Send them straight to him if you don't mind.

Here is a clay render of the shelf. This shelf will come in three parts to give more options for a game. As you can see in the render one side is missing. This will allow you to make a row of them as they are contructed in real life. An end piece will will complete the row and another end piece will be a bumper that goes around the base to protect the legs.

Enjoy the screenie:

Wow you actually went out to see the movie! Thats awesome! Thanks! And that would be great, I will probably put a static message on the screens, something along the lines of a message reminding the people the NAN is there defenders and they owe their live to the NAN.
As for the segments, just make something that fits the theme, like when the Dad and his son are in there home. Did you enjoy the movie?

Thank you so very much Starmind! You have no idea how much this will help me! You will be put on my website for helping me out! Thanks again!

Here is the model textured in blender right before export.

And the ingame shot with no shaders.

Quote: "Did you enjoy the movie?"

I saw the movie when it came out in 2002 and I bought the vhs when it came out, but I needed a dvd to really get a could pic to model from. Netflix has me spoiled, I don't really buy movies anymore. Also have a friend that buys every movie that comes out and all I have to do is ask him for a movie of my choice, but this one was in the $5 bin at walmart so I just grabbed it.

Thanks guys. I will be taking a small break to catch up on some models and I wanted to show you guys part of a personal project that I am working on. This will become a full pack that will try to post on here, but you all might have to go to my website to get it when it is done. Keep in mind that this is just in the sketch phase.

I still encourage people to make request, but I have a new rule.
this new rule is:

If you request a model and do not particpate in the production of that model, then that model will either not be created or it will be completed and sold in the store.
Particpation means that the requester acknowledges the wip screenies and download. This will allow me to understand the importance of the model. If the requester shows no interest in the model to be created or even to comment they have receive the model after the download, then future model requests from that particular requester(s) will be ignored.

Now I am doing this to single anyone out, but so far I have had request not just from here that have been not worth my time. I also want to explain that since I am doing free model requests as a courtesy to all you forum members and others that found this post on google or what not, I cannot not make everything free. There will be certain model request that you will receive an email from me laying out the price and timeframe. This means you must have an email that I can contact you if you rquest a model or models.

I hope all of you understand where I am coming from on this. I hope to see more request on here soon.

That looks awesome! It's perfect! I couldn't download it before as I was busy with school work, and my computer was formatted today so I will try it tonight probably. Does it come with just the one building or all the ones in the video?

Switch the collision to box collision. If that doesn't work I would just not put a floor under it to keep tham from running through them. It is funny though.

I just did a check on the collision and I am having no problems with it. However I don't have bond's latest model pack to test with and the viral outbreak ones go around the buildings, so it might have something to do with the ai outlines. You might turn them on and see where and why they are going through the mesh.

Cosmic made those buldings. They are in his latest Dark City pack. There is alot of stuff in his packs.

EDIT:

For those that need or want my free packs, models or games you can now get them on my website. I just updated it to include all of my games. Some of my model packs and models are going through an update so if you do see a model I have done, just ask and i will get it up there for all to have. Soon I will also have all my store models on there as well for purchase for those that don't like going through the store. Enjoy!

Intresting stuff you got here dude... How much would you charge for the "Gambit" Humvee seen in Resident Evil 5(minus the BSAA badging)?

I assume for a simple model it would be free. But would you charge extra if it had an interior and suspension?

Hey Chris, I will email you later this evening or in the morning as I have quite a busy day today. I will get to you though.

I have been working on this hand for sometime now and I finally think I have a texture that I like. Here are some screenies of the new texture for it. I took some beauty shots in blender nd the video is of it in darkshader to see how the mesh, diffuse and normal might look like in FPSC. The beauty shots are two different ones. One being with out smooth and one with both smooth and subsurf on.

Enjoy!

this is absolutely awesome work, starmind. damn that ... i dont have hands in habitat^^

just 1 thing: look at your thumb, its shorter than the other fingers wich isnt correct. with ball of thumb to fingernail exactly same size as the forefinger

rigging should be much easier when change this. ^^

look for da vincis detailed bodymodel, vitruvian man. he proofed theory that every length in human body can be found in other parts. very interesting to get correct human bodies in 2d and 3d art (basic thing to learn in artschool).

Lol it's just the angle I have it at in the pic. If you were you use my reference pic below and then put the mesh on top of it in any of the angle you would see that it is spot on. Right now I am working on the ends of the fingers and it is already rigged and there is no problems so far.

Thanks for your input. I am a big fan of Da Vinci's work.

@Starmind001- I just have to ask... Where did you get that water? Does it come with the script? Or did you make it seperately?

Edit: It wouldn't be the same Water FX file found in the common folder in the effectbank, would it?

I have added 14 new models to the store to add to your underwater scenes. Two different types of coral at different sizes. I have more items of this sort and will be adding to the store as I go.

Quote: "I just have to ask... Where did you get that water? Does it come with the script? Or did you make it seperately?"
It is a script that I made for the new water features that were added to fpsc. I have the download for the scripts above in the water plant post. You can edit the color, height and wave scale to make different waters. However I have since added to the scripts making two more for blood water and a river\ocean look. When I was in the philippines and a few other countries, I rememebered how the water looked in some places and that is what the river\ocean color is like. A brownish-green color. Now if we could add one more normal map to the water to simulate waves or direction of a big ripple it would really add to the effect.

For the updated scripts download below.-------------------->

P.S.- Would you charge anything for a retexture of the stock Colt .45 to something close to this?

Chris, I really don't like doing retextures. Not saying it is beneath me to do it, I just don't want to. Sorry. Also I am learning a new technique for textures, so your humvee will be a bit longer.

As a result of my new skill I made a compound bow for the store. This is in the final stages of rigging and animations, but I thought I would show what it looks like. Enjoy!

i would like to make a request but im hoping it will be free,
a very basic nazi zombie character, the texture like the mob zombie but with like a nazi uniform(swastika or not)i wont need it to be scripted because i will use the Mobzombie script with it.
and i don't really have a deadline

@gozzy: why do you think that 9 out of 10 screenshots of games in the last months is stuffed with nazi-zombies??^^

http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2298

just my personal: its a really nice modelpack, but dont you guys think that it is enough nazizombie-stuff for now? ... and the next 5 years? i really cant see them anymore, fpsc or progame. its pointless, boring and somniferous, and the gag of nazizombies had fly away long time before (trash-movie from 1967, "nazizombies from outer space"). as said just my personal thoughts.

(Somewhat of a bump here)Hey Starmind, When you finish up with the Humvee, I might have some more requests for you. Would you perhaps make more vehicle models from actual car brands? Something along the lines of a Defender or a Bronco...

I hope you all don't mind, but I have been a little busy lately trying to get this game all setup. Some of you asked if this game is still being done and I wanted to show that it is still going. Alot stronger than before as I have been using some of my new skills on this. As of right now, only a selected few will be beta testing for me on this. Once they let me know what their thoughts are, I will release the beta test to you all.

For now Enjoy the video!

Crosshair I will take a look, I may have missed it.

Another update for BLR, but this one is a large one with ingame sounds. I will do more this evening after I get home. My goal is to get as much of this done as I can before my vaction is up. So far I have spend three full nights on this. Texture recreation takes alot of work. I hope that all you enjoy!
