Hello all!

I just finished modeling an awesome scifi soldier I plan to use in my own game. However, I am wondering if he is too broad, specifically at the chest and the rib cage. There is no texture yet (I still have to listen to Anayar's Milkshape to FPSC UV Mapping and texturing tutorial), but he will naturally have one at some point or another. Constructive critisism is welcome. Screenie attached.

Thanks all, and Happy New Year!

Looks nice! Is he supposed to be a star wars typa' guy? Pretty amazing considering he is you're first char!

Cheears,
Anayar

BTW, I died and came back... Sigh, it's a LONG story

Looks good. Perhaps you should do a little more on the arms, they look very tubular compared to the rest of the body.

Thanks! I do learn from the best... BTW, thanks for directing me to Psionic's website but I didn't intend him to look like something from STAR WARS, although I've thought about doing a pack for the community. He's for a game I'm going to make.

Yeah, the arms are very plain, but that's how I've designed them. In the stage they are in in my story, they don't have anything special on the arms.

Thanks!

So I guess he looks alright then?

Thanks all, and Happy New Year!

Nah, he doesn't look fat. He COULD have narrower hips, but that's pushing it. It looks great!

Thanks,
Akanto

Are you sure that isn't because of his belt? Thanks for the comments!

Hello again everyone,

I'm having trouble texturing this guy. I can't get ANYTHING to appear on him. I've UV mapped him good... Does anyone have a solution? Perhaps I missed something from Anayar's tutorial (I didn't want to watch the whole thing because otherwise my ISP gets mad at me )

Thanks,
Captain Coder

Yes, I am using YouTube. But anything that sucks a lot of bandwidth is not good for my internet speed (even low quality videos). I think the speed is back up to par, so I'll download Anayar's videos maybe later this week .
