[center]Welcome everyone!
This is where you and i will be posting our FPS Creator themes. What that is is a theme for the editor. You can mess around, or try to create something that every can use! Make it funny, make it elegant! What ever you want to do is fine, but obviously keep it appropriate!

MY THEMES

WAR ZONE

Features
- 4 Different grid options!
- Edited Splash Screen, and Test Game Screen!
- Grid selections have been edited! (Meaning the markers that show where your going to place the segment)
- New start marker! Makes it easier to place your starting position! (This idea was created by AJ Schaeffer)
- Edited the Light Marker so it is easier to place, and you can be more precise with it!
- A lot more! (to come..)

Pictures

This is just showing one of the grid options. This is the basic one that comes with the pack, but you can choose another one if you don't like this one!

This is showing the edited Markers. As you can see i remade the Segment marker. It isn't a big change, but i wasn't really going for anything REAL great for my first theme.

This is the edited Build Menu. I changed the light map pictures as best i could. It is really hard to stand in the exact spot and at the exact angle for both pictures..

Here is the edited Test Game Screen. Im sorry if it is hard to read, i just really like this font and thought it looked nice! And i did not include ALL of the buttons. Such as TAB because i didn't have enough room. But if you are unsure about some of the buttons i suggest that you don't change this picture. Keep the original.

CREDITS - kingofmk98, Captain Coder, and AJ Schaeffer for inspiring me and others to create themes for FPSC. Thank you.

That's all i got for now folks! I have placed Read Me files inside of the download in different place in case you are unsure about some things. I suggest reading them, they are not very long

Also, I did not create FPS Creator. I merely edited the editor for it. So i take no credit for anything except the theme.

Thanks!

I meant to add this to the read me of the download but it is kind of already to late and i don't want to go in and edit it and upload it again and all that. So if you want to change the Grid to something different, go to this directory in the download:

Desecrated Studios FPSC Theme.rar\editors\gfx

And backup the original grid picture (0.bmp) and rename one of the others (0 - Flames.bmp, 0 - Design.bmp, 0 - Copter.bmp) to 0.bmp and start up the editor. It should now change the grid.

Thanks!

First to post! I really like the theme, looks cool! I don't know if I'll use it (I really like my Area 51 theme I'm working on), but some of those images could be very useful.

Can't wait to finish my Area 51 theme. Thanks for the credit; you didn't have to include me, of all members!

BTW, where did you get the segments in the second and third pics, they look excellent. Also, where did the segments from the lightmapping pic come from; I really like those.

Good work,
Captain Coder

From the screenshot you posted, it is going to look fantastic! And i included you because you did actually inspire me to finish the theme.

And thank you, the segments were from one of Cosmic Prophet's packs. I can not recall which one exactly, sorry

Looking good! I don't want to keep commenting because i would rather have more people post there pictures than me just commenting on things. But it looks good so far! Maybe do a couple of things and post that into one commenting instead of making it multiple ones? Actually, why don't you just add that to your first comment and make it sort of like my post?

Thanks! I hope it stands up to your expectations I've got another screenie for all of you (attached)! Not the best, but it shows what I have for the window, door, stairs, and general scenery/segment overlay painter.

I'm glad I'm doing this; it's teaching me a lot about producing my own 2D art and how to use GIMP.

@AJ Schaeffer:

That looks awesome! I look forward to seeing more of your work!

Good work to all contributors; what an interesting field of FPSC to adjusting!

This is great. I hope to see some theme packages ready to go soon. You know you can change all the markers in the library too, right?

Brian.

@kingofmk98 - Sure man! Well you did actually inspire me to finish it so i figured you deserve some credit!

xplosys - Thanks! I will hopefully finish my other theme soon, but i still have some work to do. And what exactly do you mean by the markers? The entity/segment/and prefab markers? Or like the lights? Oh and i don't think i ever congratulated you on the new badge...thingy You totally deserve it!

Here is a screenshot of another one of the grids i made (Attached), i personally like this one better than the ones in the original post. What do you guys think? WARNING, picture is in 1080p so it may take a while to load.

@Desecrated: He means the things under the marker tab, like the player start, checkpoint, hurt zone, trigger zone, etc

I made the player start a properly scaled person instead of an arrow

Thanks! I'm surprised you like that shot so much... it isn't much.

Yes, it did take a long time to load This one looks pretty cool, I like the 3D look to it. The pixels remind me of the older 2D computer games.

That is true, but I'm not sure if I want to go down that path... it means making new models and I'm a bit sick of modeling at the moment... not for long though!

Looking forward to seeing more themes as well!

I was referring to the library images only. I gave out some new ones probably a year or more ago, but I have no idea where they are now.

I just really like the grid haha! It seems you put a lot of effort into it and i was merely saying that i liked it.

Thanks! I wanted to go for something a bit different and it turned out looking pretty cool. All i did was turn the bevel and emboss thing on in photoshop

It actually wasn't that hard. I just created a 64x64 image, colored it black, created a new layer, drew green lines along the edges of the image, then I applied "Alien glow", and it turned out great!

However, I have a bit of a dilemma. I am trying to make the corridor/gantry painter, but I'm not sure if it looks right. I like the color red for it, but I'm worried the arrows are too small. What say all of you?

Thanks everyone!

It looks fine to me, and the arrows are a bit small but that isn't really a problem.. The red definitely looks nice!

I still haven't finished mine yet - I got distracted learning how to animate sorry to all.

I'll post what I did if I don't finish.

Actually - is anyone still interested in my Area 51 theme for FPSC?
