Hi all

I am an fpsc x10 user and have model pack 54 for it for the tutorial boxes amongst other things. I have created a room in a level that has all the boxes laid out so the player can read them easily. They also appear when i do a quick level preview. But when i do a test level, or build the game and run it, they aren't there. Help?!?

Self confessed noob here.

Thanks for any suggestions

Hmm... Will take a look at it.
Since the pack is originaly made for X9 there is no guarantee that scripts will function as they should.

Do you mean that you see the boxes in preview? Thats not how it should be, they should actually disapear ingame and show a hud when near them.

That's interesting, I'll have to test the exe again and watch carefully at the screen.

Wouldn't that make finding the boxes in the executable hard unless you put them in a corridor that forces the player into them, or should I be enabling/changing a property of the boxes?

Thanks for your time on this Cyborg ART

They are mainly made for the purpouse you described, putting the boxes in a corridor or similiar.
Lile when the player need to jump over a gap, then you could put the jumptutorial there.

You would also be able to create a triggerzone in the shape you want, and then attach the script from the tutorialbox you want to use. Then you can have a very large tutorialzone.

Hope it helps!
