Texture Maker / help in desktop icon design.

I am trying to design a desktop Icon. after the software being compiled using DBpro IDE, the icon image looses much of its resolution making it looks unprofessional.

formats used ".bmp", ".ico"

icon image size: 64x64

software used: pro motion which is sold at DBpro website. (actually I purchased this software because it can use .ico format).

thanks for any advice.

I use gimp.org 2.6 to make my icons... careful in using large icons I can not remember the max ico size but will be checking into it myself in a couple of days...
