1) There is a door titled keyed. Use that.
2) Select door from segments.

User guide worth searching.

Thanks TZap, I know this, however when try to replace remote door it wont delete the original or let me replace with a keyed door. I have used a keyed door in the cell (hid key in the cell)before in the past.
The other problem: When I place a new door on a wall it either does'nt show, or when it does it opens to reveal the wall behind it.
I know it is a simple fix, just having brain fart about it.

It doesn't matter which door you place in the editor you can change the script so it can be any door. So if you placed a remote door just go to the script in the right click menu and change it to the use door script or key door script

When you place a segment which contains an entity such as a door. You can select and edit the entity's properties but you cant delete it without placing another of same type of segment, or it will leave the entity untouched (sounds like this is what you have done). Segments contain the boolean punches required to create the hole in the wall for the door.

Awesome! Its one of those threads.

When deleting a door you need to delete it from the same side you placed it, so if you have two rooms side-by-side and you place a door from the left side you need to delete it from the left side, try that.

I reject your reality and substitute my own...
