Hey, i've been using X9 for about 2 months now and i feel like i should start making my first game. If you guys didn't know this would be a single man job (my friends are the more player types) and i'm only[mod edit]make sure you read the AUP[/mod edit]. Please don't be prejudice of my age. I have been developing for over a year now. I just want to know if i could do this and if you guys would be willing to support me in any way possible.

make a finished game? yes, the engine is capable of this. are you, too?^^

support: friendly ask question, friendly answers will come back.

only X years old? i know childish Xyo and Xyo with parental behavior, as i know (stupid) grownups stayed underage in mind. where you are?

one thing in making a complete game is endurance, even when it gets boring or problematic (it will^^). endurance is mostly a comon problem of many people.

other thing is life-experience. you cannot have that much with low age. interesting plots and stories are made of this. but try, we will see (if you are smart you dont need a big plot for a shooter )

i wish you all the best for a big project like this.

You're good, kid...your age doesn't concern us. Only your behaviour.

As for FPSC: yes, it can make a complete game

Also, remove your age from the post (click the edit button) its against the AUP to post your age if you are a minor.

How can you call those people stupid ? I have worked with people who were 40 years old, but are 6 years old in there mind. They can't help it !

@norion: you massively misunderstood me if you think i meant some kind of down syndrom, savants or in other way "other" people (i am not a fan of naming these guys "sick"). i worked with them too and had lot of fun and some enlightened moments of MY stupid human behavior, was great.

what i thought of was the 40 year old business man aka mad football fan who runs naked down the street, beer left, beer right, only a banner of his football-club around his hips. these kind of guys, or monkey-style-behavior-i-chase-every-woman-i-see-guys. and also they are funny from a distance.

just to make clear if you thought i have something against anyone, especially special people (so to call). its not the case definitely.

i should enter my old sign again: i hate humanity, but i love humans.

this thread and that sentence is partly the evidence that you are on a good way

you wont believe how satifying it is when you get something really big done ... and its good in the final, so always worth a try.

If it's any help, they way I'm thinking is, i'm currently producing my first real FPSC Project. If it goes down well, and people like my work, I may consider charging for my second Project.

Zombies would be easier for a first game, Modern, I expect would require more complex AI, as zombies just "run forward and smack".

trispefear, what if you just made a new thread in the FPSC Chat section? That way me and DoubleRThree and you can put all of our ideas in one place for all of us to see easier, and put input in easier. rather than forwarding messages to each other via e-mail.
