Obviously this has been asked before, with no real answer except for "Project Blue". So my question is, NOW with v1.19, is motion blur possible?

It will literally complete my game if this can be done, and i heard that it was possible in 1.19 because of the new post processing stuff? I could be wrong but im pretty sure i heard it was.

If anyone know's, would you mind telling me?

SIDE QUESTION - I noticed all of the new cool features that come with v1.19 on the 1.19 thread, but none of it is actually in my game. Like the death animation where apparently you fall or something? How come this isn't in the update? Do i have to script it in or something? Thanks!

Motion blur was possible since 1.17, with the addition of post processing.
1.19 has a shader called motion sickness which could be modded into a motion blur effect.

Yes, it's possible, but the preset V119 one blurs A LOT. If you wanted a motion blur similar to the effect in Crysis 2, then you'd have to re-write the shader.

Secondly, yes, you need to script the new V119 Additions. The V119 update is basically a scripting update.

I absolutely love that game, and i love the motion blur in it. That is actually one of the reasons why i wanted motion blur, because i loved it so much in that game haha

How exactly do i re-write a shader? Does anyone have any tutorials? How might i start doing this?

I did see that actually, and i thought i might be able to modify it. But i had no idea what to do so i gave up on that. Im just bad as scripting, i have tried a ton of tutorials, i guess my mind just doesn't like it or something XD

Thanks for responding!

If you open the shader up in notepad or something you should be able to find a few variables that you can tweak to achieve the desired effect. They might be labeled, they might not. If I'm right in thinking that they are Bond1's then they likely are labeled.

Thank you for that JRH, you wouldn't happen to know what file is the blur though would you? Do you have 1.19?
