My Specs:
I have got Alienware [ic:Alien] M18x Laptop .8 GB dual RAM, 500 GB HDD.
Games like COD MW 3 run faster than sonic!
It is currently the best laptop for gaming in the shop.
I have brought FPS Creator X10 + Mature update.
I made my game but when i test it , it runs really SLOW and LAGGISH
although i did not add much entities in the game.
HELP! fast pleez.
Thanks!

Update your drivers, do a defrag and all of the usual.
FPSC shouldn't lag on a high end PC, I have a GTX560 and it runs perfectly.

I'm not familiar with FPSC X10. But the stand-alone game should run perfectly fine I should think. Also, there can be a difference between running a test game from the map editor. However, your machine shouldn't cause anything sluggish.

I have a high end desktop and it runs my X9 tests and stand-alone levels/games as they should. However, I have a lower end laptop and it runs the test games slowy and sometimes there is a "jerkiness." The stand-alone game, created with my desktop will run as it should. One of the main differences is that development software will always require a lot more resources than the app (game) itself.

Can you post a screen shot of what you have?

Nice to see another Alienware owner here Do you have an nVidia graphics card? If so the integrated intel card may be running FPSC instead of the nVidia one. You can check online how to disable Optimus.

Specs: Alienware M17x R3. i7-2630QM. 8GB RAM. Nvidia 560m. Momentus XT Hybrid Drive.

only when you run the biggest setup (5000 €)

when you have the basic-setup for the 18x, its not THAT big package, the single gpu is ok, but not that good (double-gpu is great but high cost), and a core runs on 2.5ghz standard, only overclocked up to 3.5 what fpsc doesnt like. fpsc wants 2.8 nonclocked to run "without lag" when levels getting complex.
when you have the ati-card, x10 causes massive problems with its fullscreenshaders as fog/water etc and also some of the entity-shaders if you havent updated your drivers.

as with x9 it all depends on you how smooth your game runs. x10 has the same problems as x9 when it comes to many different character models in the same portals/cullings, also the same probs with wide outdoor maps. when not setup correctly, it lags more than x9. you have to learn about building and optimizing your levels propperly.

Is your game optimised? No matter what your specs, FPSC will choke on large numbers of characters/entities.
