Sorry, bumped the enter key. Anyway, misunderstandings here.

I used a program that you are likely all familiar with. It is called Mixamo. Credits to mixamo.com. This is likely why it is so familiar to you henry ham. Thanks for calling me out on that, my error. I did, however, create the models on my own using this program.

Secondly, I forgot that, in the terms and conditions, there was indeed one section prohibiting the redistribution of the models created with this program without written permission from Mixamo. Since I forgot to obtain this permission, I did violate that license unintentionally. Jlmoondog, who is familiar with Mixamo, was kind enough to call me out on this, saving me from a lot of legal trouble. Thank you Jlmoondog. He locked the thread and pointed out my error. I confirmed and do acknowledge my error. It is my fault, thanks for your understanding.

Now that everything is cleared up, I will announce concerning the pack. Since at the moment I am not likely in your good graces I intend to get back on them hopefully by releasing details of this pack that I have not yet released. I am new to this program but I like to think I have learned quickly, often the hard way. The contents of this pack will be less models as much as additional content, due to the misunderstanding concerning Mixamo. I consider this error to be a learning process and a minor setback only.

The pack is projected to include:

1)undisclosed scenic entities
2)characters *pending
3)templates, tips, and samples for creating your own video segments for your games
4)new menus designed to be easily customizeable
5)new huds
6)tips, tricks, and various links compiled and sorted *this will not violate any copyright laws ex: henry ham a=has a great multitude of free fpsc entities. i would likely include a link to his website and a description praising his excellent work and recommending it to designers looking for free, quality materials
7)more

Once again, apologies for the misunderstanding. I am new to this. Keep up the constructive criticism please

you didn't do anything wrong in your last post but you were about to.if i hadn't said anything i think you would have released the models & ended up getting a ban.

there is nothing wrong with using a program like mixamo to make characters for your game its no different than using one of TGCs model packs.the problems come if you try to claim them as your own work or distribute them in a model pack or on there own.

its always best to make all your own media, that way you can do what you like with it without fear of comebacks.remember if you can find it on the net so can everyone else.

you are new to game media creation so start simple & take your time look for tutorials on modelling texturing etc & work your way through them (there is a lot to learn but if you work hard you will get good results)

good luck

cheers henry
