Im making a zombie game and huge error with this model pack. the zombies will not run at you, they will only attempt to run at you. The zombies will run in place until you get really close to them. Need help asap!

I think you should check up the *.FPI files of the zombie models.Maybe you should re-edit them.

Make sure you dont snap the characters to the grid. When you place them in the editor, make sure they are hovering above the ground a little bit. This will help solve that problem alot of the times.

If this doesnt work, it might be a problem with the segment they are on.

When u place the character in the editor, right click on it, and hit the "page up" key to move it up.

Try and click on the zombie and press enter, it will bring the character to the surface.

Thank you everyone who helped fix this issue. Lastly i need to fix an issue with the noticing. In X10 you can change the distance at which the enemy can notice you but how do you do it in X9?

Open up the characters main script, and edit the value for "plrdistwithin=x". 100 = 1 segment, so "plrdistwithin=700" would make the character notice you from 7 segments away. Also, right click on the character, and in its properties, set "always active" to yes

Right click on the character to open the properties, under AI scripts, click on "main". Find the corresponding script for that character. (Should be in the Zombie Apocolypse folder, if your still using those characters.) Then open up the one you want to edit (you can use notepad, or download FPIEdit pad) and you will see a line like this near the top.

;DETECT PLAYER
:state=0,plrdistwithin=1000,plrcanbeseen

Just change the value to whatever you like.
