iOS and MacOS / Blank screen with one white pixel?

Hi all,

Just made sure I had the latest version of the AppGameKit software as well as the latest AppGameKit viewer app for my iPhone 4.

I loaded up the SmackIt example and did a build, run and broadcast while running the viewer app on my phone, and my phone's screen just went black with a single white pixel on the left hand side of the screen about halfway from the center to the top. No game played, no sound came out, and no responses went to the PC...

Both devices are on the same subnet, same network, same router. And can even ping each other.

What am I doing wrong?

I got this when I had bluetooth switched on. Try disabling everything other than the wireless network connection on the iPhone.

My bluetooth is turned off perhaps there's some sort of signal overload in my house?

Could be I guess... I just know that this is how I solved the same problem on my iPod touch 4G.

There are a few posts on this issue I believe.

Oh, really? I'll try having a more thorough look... I couldn't see any other posts...

Hopefully it's something fixable, as I'd really like to try it!

i have the same issue with AppGameKit Viewer with my iphone 4. A white pixel and .. nothing else.

So i've decided to install the player which works well (but you need an apple developer account or a jailbroken device (which breaks also your guaranty if you do it :p).
