hello, I wish I had a time machine to see what amazing things that would be added to agk... but other than 3d graphics, I would love to able to talk to my iphone (using agk) and have my iphone understand what I say. Not only that but I also would like to see the phone also talk back. Apparently this is far far done the line in agk updates (if this happens) but I just like to spill out some idea commands when I can

p.s. just like siri but to have commands like:

and this would be for having the phone speak:

edit: this of course could be done on android also, since it has a voice app on it too... I think.

You could do this on iPhone with AppGameKit tier 2, and the iOS SDK.

But seriously, it's never going to be a part of AppGameKit as it would need to be fully implemented in every other platform it works on.

Yeah, never going to happen. AppGameKit has to support commands that span all the devices. Siri commands are specific to the Apple SDK. If you want to use specific device features, then you need to use Tier 2 and the native Apple SDK tools to achive it as Mobiius said.

I rather like the idea of adding a Say("") command to AGK. We'd have to incorporate a basic speech synthesis module for devices that don't have a more sophisticated option, but it would be a great fun command. Anyone know of a good open source (free) speech synthesis module that is written in basic C/C++ with no dependencies (and has a Java version of it too)?

Another fun (I would think) easy command to do is to implement a link command. The link command would be a link to a webpage or something on the web. Example:

It would display Click here! and you would click it and sends you to tgc website.
I guess you could also use a sprite for the link also, example:

So does this mean I log into google and add some ideas of my commands to the agk project? If so that would be great! I don't have too many just a couple.
