DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / Installation error?!

Hey everyone!

I just purchased the Dark Game Studio package from the Dark Game Studio Bonanza thing on the front page and started installing everything, but it seems that NONE of my product keys are working when I install anything besides DBPRO.

The main DBPRO product key worked, but when I installed DarkLights, DarkAI, and DarkPhysics so far, and their product key entery page pops up, I put in my email and product key, and it says "Product Not Found".

Anyone else experience this and have a workaround?

Computer Specs:
Intel Core I7 Quad Core 2.2 ghz
Geforce GTX 560m 1.5 gb
8GB ram
1.5TB hard disk drive
Windows 7 64bit premium edition

Is it a windows 7 issue maybe?

should help... it opens up into my massive post... perhaps try removing everything and follow my guide to disable UAC which you need to do for Vista and Win7 to install successfully ... alternatively you can try right clicking the setup files and select run as admin... it should have informed you to disable UAV when you ran the disk...

Eitherway... perhaps submit a support ticket on the store to ask someone to ensure your keys were setup correctly on the server... also ensure you type or copy the code without spaces in front or at the end...

Umm just ask again here if you have any further issues...

Thanks for the link! When I was using the search function i error 404d and couldnt find anything! That is a pretty big post Im thinking it might be easier (and quicker) to install XP on a partition to use DBP

Its def not the keys cuz i actually have a couple keys for a few of the prorgrams (DarkPhysics, DBPRO and DarkAI) and none of the keys work besides the DBPRO one ill comb through that post and see if i can get er up and running

Sorry for double post, but its allll working now! Updated DBPRO to the 75 updated and got the same error, then removed UAC and it works. THANKS AGAIN

No worries... yeah I may have forgotten to mention to update DBPro in that post but the general assumption is everyone usually installs either the latest update or a recent one ... glad you got it working

Ask the store about it. The key might have been used already or is not authentic.
