Hi all

i need some characters rigged up so that they can be "talkers" like the WW2 characters - I tried with Fragmotion and Blacksmith 3D and failed. Is there anyone out there in FPSC Forum Land who would take on such a task?

If so, please send me an e-mail. I do not expect anyone to work for free.
Or maybe someone could point out who made the original talkers and I could contact him/her?

Thanks

Eugene

Original talkers were made by TGC. Your have to contact them for more info. Or maybe someone here is generous enough.

Thanks Vortex

I'll do so.
I also found out that Model Packs 44 and 45 were "talkers".

Hi Vortech

Does "Fletcher" ring a bell? I thought I saw his name somewhere.

It seems our local wizard Bond1 was very involved in this project:
"The characters need to be rigged for facial animation. There are about 26 bones that control the face alone. And for starters, there are ten mouth "phenome" positions that it uses to form words. In the future, eye blinks and other expressions may be added.

I made all the stock characters lip-sync compatible. If there is enough interest, I may make a new model pack with more lip-sync compatible characters."

I see Conjured Entertainment and Flatlander also had solutions to this problem...

My quest continues...

Hi Daniel Wright

I have Dark voices and have used it with the talker characters, but I have other models that do not have the lip "bones" to simulate talk.

Attached is a picture of the bones of a standard UOK Pack Roman and next to him is a talker. Notice the different number of bones in the talker's head. A bonehead maybe

Now this what I'm trying to do... making a standard character into a talker.

Thanks

Eugene
