How do I load FX files into a game or program to effect objects?
When I load in a Tree made in TreeMagik the leaves have a flat texture and they are square, how do I get rid of that so they look right?

You need to set the transparency mode to another value, I forget which one now, it may be 3? Try a few values and see what happens.

the command sintax is: SET OBJECT TRANSPARENCY object_number, mode
where mode is a number between 0 and 6 or 7. If you read the help files you would know. Try different mode numbers, not just 1

If you're using an alpha channel for the leaf's textures, use mode 2. Otherwise use mode 4, it will cut away all black areas.

Tree magic example programs should correctly display the trees; you may as well check what transparency settings are recommended in the example snippets provided.

when I save my trees with Tree magic I save them in DBO format.

the "set object transparency 1, 1" always seems work.

that may not be it, but it's worth saving them as DBO files. I think they load faster.

i have a completly different question, i am working on my first multi level maze game and i need help adding the seccond level because the last time i tried all of my collisions went away

here is the code i know its poorly organized but i find it easyer for me to navagate this way

it kind of has a seccond level but thats just because i cheated

use sparky collision dll to handle collisions
and since you are a noob a suggest this place

5 suggestions:
1. Use LOAD EFFECT command
2. Use SET OBJECT EFFECT command
3. If you don't know how to do 1. or 2. read the Manual ->press F1 while in the editor
4. Post the code which shows that it doesn't work
5. Take a visit to this place
