Im trying to work through a test programme called castle01 from the hands on darkbasic pro vol 2 book.

I have found and saved all the required images it needs and have copied all the code exactly into darkbasic but when I compile and run nothing happens :/

I have attahced what i ahve so far

Any help would be much appreciated

The code almost works fine for me only needed to start a new project copy your entire code. To the new file because when I clicked on your file it said it was missing the include file or something like that.

I had to change the DISPLAY MODE to 1600,900,32 because my laptop doesn't support 1900x1024. And also at line 115 you are missing an enter.

Okay thanks a lot I've got it working now!

I keep getting confused though because sometimes it loads an old game I was playing around with :S

Can't quite get my head around these .dba and .dbpro files and in what order to save them and stuff
