in the sense that I think you are thinking of them....no. DB/c/p is in no way OOP aside from UDT's which are barely OOP.

Unless you mean an object and a limb-then I have no experience yet with such matters

What I want is pretty much want is a way to attach an object to another object. So if I attach a cube to a sphere, the cube is a child and the sphere is the parent. If I rotate the sphere, the cube also rotates because it is based on the local coordinates of the sphere.

I say that there was an attach object command but the help page for it is gone. I thought perhaps it's been removed from DBP.

The command used in DBPro is Glue see the thread on this forum "Glue Blues" It does exactly what you describe
