It states US residents only,, yet the registration form has a choice for USA AND "other"... so I may need to inquire to get some clarification on that.

What? — Programming competition.
Who? — Residents of the USA.
Where? — At your computer
When? — Saturday February 18 at 2 pm, eastern time
How long? — 4 hours
Why? — Fun, cool prizes, job opportunities
How? — Described below (ICPC style rules)
Price? — Free
Prizes? — Yes!
Languages? — C, C++, Java

At Spotify, we're always looking for top-notch talent to join our NYC team. We figured throwing a contest would be a great way to go about it! Participating in the contest is a quick and easy way to get your résumé to the top of our list of applications.

Alienware M18x
iPad 32 GB WiFi
Sonos Play 5

You can also practice with Spotify's Tech Puzzles.

Also... Example problems
Once you have registered you will receive an e-mail with login information for the contest system that you can use to test the system and practice on last years' problems. The practice system will be open until 24 hours before the contest starts.

The contest will have problems similar in style to many other programming contests. If you haven't participated in programming contests previously, we recommend preparing by solving a few problems on the contest system.
