Did anyone find a fix to this?

when trying to use play animation to image-- the animation pops up in a separate window which says active movie player.
In fact I think its in the klite codec packs. that would be very bad for distribution. the FFV player / codec (FFDSHOW installed) hijacks the running DarkBasicPro App

If I remember correctly, it is your video's format which is causing the problem. Try converting your video to .MPG or .WMV and see if the problem persists.

Have a solution, but it involves other software and a little cash:
What I did to fix this problem was convert my video file in ImTOO Video Converter to a HD AVI file. The normal .AVI firmat didn't work nor any .mp4 format. The HD .AVI format is found under the HD video tab. Here is the site page, they offer a trial version.

Happy Modding!!!

Was wondering if there's now a fix for this bug? I am trying the exact same thing here as mentioned above.

The play animation to image command still pops up the active movie player and prevents DBPro from working properly. Anyone know a way to load the avi files to a texture without dividing up the frames and making separate images?

I stopped using DBpro because of this bug
whenever I want to use it I remember why
AND I always tell people why

The only way you could get them to fix it is by spamming Lee Bambers email or starting a petition otherwise they couldn't give a
