when i load a project it comes up
there was an error sending the command to the program

and then opens but the coding in the project is gone

It might be there. I've seen something like that a few times but can't remember how it happens. The solution is usually to go to File>Open>File...(Add to project). When you've found the right file, load it then save the project. Make sure the project and code files are saved in the same folder with appropriate names such as "MyGame.dbpro" and "MyGame.dba" respectively.

im new to dark basic pro i just bought a book for dark basic pro and going though it
