i don't have any cloth demos because dbp has included cloth as standard plugin, and there are almost no demos on this topic on the forum

On the TGC - My Products Page, there should be a download containing the help file and demo's.

Here's the flag demo...

I downloaded it from here somewhere, so I don't suppose it hurts to upload it.

Quote: "Upgrade 7.3
We have already started work on U73 with some additions to the SNIPPETS folder, some extra parameters here and there and a rather special announcement. From U73 onwards, the Cloth & Particles Module will be completely free and included with the update as part of the installation. Once installed, all cloth and particle module command syntax will highlight and you will be able to compile them without activating the module. We will not be including the examples as they weigh in at 19MB, but they will be freely available from your Order History if you have purchased Dark Basic Professional directly from us. Watch out for a U73 BETA thread soon as there are sufficient changes underway that justify some public testing before we make U73 official."

READ revenant chaos's post while writing this and also I worked this one out its just a mess lol

But yeah the Example stuff was within the order history...

eitheway I am too tired... but I was sorta correct and sorta incorrect but meh thats life ... time for food!!! and golf hopefully today as I need a breather...

Yes, I wonder about that too.

As it happens I've been following your discussion and tried to find those demos by searching (I was going to post the relevant link here). However I failed to find BatVink's post. Obviously I used the wrong search phrase - which just underlines the need for a single, properly organised, link for such things. IanM manages to do it for all the DBPro versions in his Sticky thread on the Bug Reports board so why can't someone do the same for all these free plugins?

At least this particular story has a happy ending.

GG yeah I too was thinking whether there was a sorted assortment... I was actually thinking to begin a thread that everyone inserted their findings and then I could also rehost many of the external files [or they could be reuploaded here if small enough] I really want to support this community as much as possible... as it may change my life forever in the near future...

Hidden stuff, yum yum, found quite afew commands in this dll for cloth, would you like me to tell what they are plus I dont know if they work or not?

edit
well it looks like these command were not enabled so not worth showing them and the compilers dos not know what to do with them.

edit 2
Well there are these two and I think they might work.

Hi.
I have downloaded the physics.chm file but when I try to open it, it opens and displays a "Navigation To The Webpage Was Canceled" error.

I can see the contents page ok, but I can't open anything

Can anybody help please?

Just as an FYI. I have the Free DBPro version at work and it does not include Cloth Particles. I installed it just a month or two ago and there is no place other than my order history to download 3d cloth particles on the TGC website.

So in my opinion, you've just given everyone access to something that a ton of people have paid for.
I don't really care, but was curious to see if I had it on my work computer. Finding that I did indeed not have it with the DBPro free version. I thought you should be aware.

Also I've owned DBPro since October, 2010 and it looks like the cloth particle demo was last updated March, 2010. I wonder why it doesn't show on his product page?

Naphier - Are you sure you aren't running an old version of DBPro (you need 7.3 or newer)? If you notice the dll itself hasn't been posted and the examples I linked to were posted by a forum moderator.

Hi.
I downloaded it from WickedX's link above.
It doesn't matter though as I do actually have a working copy of it on my system already I was just unaware of it.

I bought the original version of DBPro on cd and I have the cloth and particle expansion which must have been added through an upgrade but I too do not have anything on my product history page.

That's why I posted the flag demo, because I downloaded a link version ages ago, although I declined from uploading the whole thing. I remember the link being posted before DBPro went free. Anyway, I consider the flag demo as a good sales tactic.
