i just purchased dark occlusion in the hopes of optimising my current project, however I have a small problem, it makes every object vanish, nothing appears at all. I followed the commands to the letter as shown in examples etc... I've tried several different objects but always the same result except when just using the "make object box 1,20,20,20" etc... All my user made objects in .x and .dbo just vanish. And also as soon as I add the OC_setobjectbounds command it totally disregards all of my collision programming. Any ideas?

I just figured out that I was not running the latest version, even though when clicked on "Help -> check for updates" it told me that there were no new updates.

I believe the latest update is 7.61 (or 1.0761).

If you want the latest upgrade (The new editor uses spaces rather than tabs which I find a real pain and I can't determine how to get it to use tabs). Also it now shows ads, which it shouldn't do.

Now I have two different problems (see the link above to the other discussion). Collision is no longer working and some objects randomly disappear while in view.

Use this to Upgrade

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=180294&b=1

and this for the latest release with some bug fixes U7.7 is actually the most current used though officially its a BETA but I think MOST of us use it... and most plug-ins including DO use it as well, or at least function well with it.

You are seeing ads because you used the FREE edition to upgrade... you need to re-register with your licence or search on the forum there's plenty recent posts regarding how to fix that issue [something about an ini file or registry entry and pasting your key there... too messy for me though its easy for me, though not needed for me]

hope this helped

EDIT

JRNTexas sorry didn't mean to repeat just in case so just saying

Updated it but still having the same issues. Nothing appears and adding the object bounds command kills my collision... I will admit to being slightly upset by this, since I could really use this, I've read everything in the threads and still having problems.
