sup guys, im not sure if its a bug, but take a good look at that code:

this is a perfect glow effect, works perfectly without any problem
but once i add "fog on" command, there is no render at all. i noticed the problem with in the latest dbpro 7.7 version.
it worked fine for me until now at 7.1..

(Attached the fx file)

how to fix that?

saw this which made me think of this http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=152591&b=15
as you havent posted any screen shots am wondering if your project is set for fullscreen in the ide options and if the above link is what your experiencing - I had forgotten I had posted this possible bug and have just looked at it again
As I have now got 7.5 installed the same code I was using no longer showed the bug(which I never did post up in the report - dont know why!), so I have made 1 alteration as it did not appear to exist under 7.5, in order to recreate the bug - I have ensured vsync was switched off
run the following code twice, the second time remove the vsync flag or change it to 1

now when i do same for the project resourceful posted up I get same result and if i run it in window mode it will crash the application on the first run..
bare in mind I have anti alias set to overide the application at 4x during all the tests in order for the results to show up as they have done
also bare in mind that you can control the aa setting in the same command, I havent been able to test further as Im v busy atm, when I get chance to I will revisit and post findings if its worth it in the report

edit: change line 1 to this with 4x aa in your graphics control panel(set to overide app controls)

this is only way while controlling multisamples that the bug is recreated, setting multisample to anything other than 0 works fine even with vsync off

@Sergey K

it occurred to me that there is not no need for the Ghost command

your fx3.fx completely takes care of the ghosting

so effecting when the ghosting command is used it tuns off the ghosting

well this fog on command along with this bloom effect worked perfectly for me on 7.1 version
now when i moved to 7.7 it overrides the fog? wtf?
