Q. Where did i got this idea?
A. After reading one of the anayar's recently posted threads, actually this one, i decided open a design thread up here, in order to keep the FPSC Board interesting.

Q. What is it about?
A. It's for Artists who are already familiar with the game design process, model and media making. Artists will post their work here, and you will be able to use it.

Q. If i download media from here, can i use it in commercial purposes?
A. Every file comes with a licence which user who posted the file made.

Q. How i can post my own media here?
A. You are free to post your media here, as soon as it meets the requirements listed down here. You should have the following informations ready when posting a new media on this thread:
- Media Name: Object Name
- Art Type: Environment/Segment/Texture/Etc
- Polygons: Number of Polygons/N/A
- Textures: Yes/No
- Rigged: Yes/No
- Animated: Yes/No
- UV Mapped: Yes/No
- Unwrapped UVs: Yes/No
- Additional: Screenshots/Renders/Etc

Q. Can I upload other people's media?
A. You can only upload media that you made, that you own. Every file that you post here must be your own work.

Disclaimer: You're not allowed to request any kind of media here, as there are threads already maded to server that purpose.

Additional: As i don't have any email adress of any Mods around here, I would like to ask Mods if they can make this thread sticky. And, I'd appreciate if someone find any grammar mistake (I expect a lot of them), to point me in a right way, so i can edit the thread.

Already stickied, its called the 'Media collection database' these things only work if you keep it updated, other than that no one will post in here when they prefer to create their own thread which contains a full description/instructions/screenshots etc.

Besides that if its not textured/uv mapped etc then it isnt FPSC ready and should be in the 3d chat board.


As far as I know all the mods e-mail addresses are easily found in their profiles and at the bottom of every post they make.

In the FPSC Chat, there is an important sticky thread called FPSC Community Rules and Information Thread, found here. You can get the mod's contact info in there.

I still dont get why people seem to think this board is lacking in any way, a glance tells me its as busy as ever with some real nice quality stuff on offer and soon to be released. Not to mention the reappearance of Cosmic Prophet. I wouldnt expect CP or Anayar will post their work here in this thread either really when its released.

You see my point, its not that encouragement is needed to post here or even this board, its incentive and mostly they get that from people posting comments on their work which wont really happen if its all in one thread, it would become unmanageable.

The models and media board really shoudn't be confused with the 'free models and media board' there should be just as many threads containing questions in my opinion so it cant be judged as boring simply cos folks feel its not got enough free stuff on it.
