I have a graphical bug with my AppGameKit project running on Android and am dead eager to post about it here, but (and believe me, I feel a little silly asking this) I don't know how to grab a screen shot?

Is there a simple method? Have any of you guys done this before (I only got my droid this morning, so it's all new and exciting), I couldn't see a *free* app to do it on the market place. (only trials) and I'd feel a bit silly taking snapshots of it with a camera

depends on your phone/tablet model ... few of them integrate a keys/buttons shortcut (or a taskbar icon) to make a screenshot.

otherwise .. maybe a free screenshot app on the market

So if I understand correctly, you want to take a screen shot of whatever you have running on your Android phone, right? Try pressing the 'home' and 'power' button at the same time (well, hold home button down a split second before pushing the power button)... That should take a screen print and save it in your gallery...
