I am using my older desktop that is way faster than my netbook in gaming wise, but when ever i download FPSC 1.16+ and try to open it crashes and says the whole "there has been an error. make your map smaller" quote. Does 1.16+ have a higher graphics card requirement?

oh, and i am using a 64mb GFX Card

Thanks

I don't think that will work very well with 1.0

I double checked the year just to make sure I hadn't gone back in time a decade.

Specs: Alienware M17x R3. i7-2630QM. 8GB RAM. Nvidia 560m. Momentus XT Hybrid Drive.

Hmm... I was rebuilding my old desktop to run DOS games over the weekend. I found an old nVidia 6200 with 64mb memory, and couldn't help but laugh. I think I bought the card in 2004, if not earlier.

The card I settled on for my PC was the 8400, which has 512mb memory. So basically, the card I'm using for DOS games from the 1990's (and earlier) has more memory - 8 times as much - than the card your using for FPSC.

You can pick up a decent graphics card pretty cheap these days, so if you can then I strongly suggest you upgrade. FPSC will suddenly become much friendlier with your PC
