Hello fellow FPSC users,

I was looking over the Issue 110 of the TGC newsletter, and I came across a new product: the Shoot 'Em up Kit. Looks pretty darn good, to.

I don't know about everyone else, but when I think of "shoot 'em up", I think of an FPS game...

I don't know if this is made to support 1st person, but it cerntainly touches on many more features than FPSC: 2D and 3D support, 3rd person, "powerful graphics", and it looks like you can create your own particles as well. It has all this and some others (see the link above) for approximately the same price as FPSC.

I was wondering what the FPSC community thought about the new product. Post your thoughts, ideas, (civilized) rants, etc. I look forward to seeing what everyone thinks.

All the best,

UPDATE:

There is a thread in Geek Culture discussing the new product. One of the creators of the Kit is participating in discussions to answer questions. Link to Geek Culture Thread

Here is the website of the Shoot 'Em Up Kit's developer: http://www.tallstudios.com/. Enjoy.
