soo im not quite sure what happened. i know for a fact that i have the full version of FPSC, as i always have, i mean ive posted demos on this forum :p so im on my merry way, and i stumbled across the 1.19 Beta upgrade. So i figured wth y not? and i dl'ed it. now i cant build games, or make arena maps, and it tells my to go to TGCstore and buy the build game upgrade for 2000 points($20) and before you ask, no, im that idiot that didnt back up his fpsc folder beforehand

o nvm i got it. i had to go to the userdetails configuration file within my directory and re-enter my serial. Out of curiosity tho, can anyone shed some light on why this happened?

This is an issue with the FPSC source code, which causes a Ninja to steal your serial key when you upgrade

I'm not quite sure why this happens. It happens to some, but not others. Its definitely never happened to me, and I've used FPSC for some time...

try putting your serial in the userdetails.ini file , I had the same issue and that fixed it

1. Clear your serial from userdetails.ini
2. Run\install the attached reg file
3. Run FPSCreator, it should ask for your serial
4. Input your serial and click OK (I'm not sure if it says OK or not, I can't remember)
5. Done.

If you do not want to download the reg file:
FPSCreator_ClearSerial.reg:


and one for FPSCX10:

FPSCreatorX10_ClearSerial.reg:


The two empty lines at the end are required.

Just download and install another version update. In my opinion 1.19 beta has to be more shaped up and released for 'real' before I ever use it. After all,, it's a beta
