I'm just asking, is there a way to disable gravity on the player?
I have a drivable helicopter script that I am working on (it's about 90% done) and I would just like to know how to do this.

Don't think it's possibile without editing the source...I think it would be easier using the 1.19 entity camera commands: when the player approaches the helicopter he can press the action key, and that will switch to the entity's camera. Then you can make the helicopter moving through scripting

@Stalker93
That's already what I've done, the problem is, since I'm using linktoplayer, the helicopter falls when in the air along with the player, and when I use plrmoveto=rheli, the player moves inside the model.

Here is the script so far:

It's designed to be used with Tornado's helicopter.

On the helicopter, using that script, and making the helicopter's appear script: "appearnogravity.fpi" (or something like that), would that solve the problem?

If I wanted to remove gravity from the helicopter itself, then yes, but I want to remove gravity from the player, not the entity.

Don't know how to solve that gravity problem...I think you should use the entitycam command: you'll only need to offset the camera correctly for the best result, then write down some commands to move the entity up and down, and to rotate it (something like what you've already written). I think I would be easier switching from the player camera to the entity camera, above all you could get around the player gravity issue

I've tried that earlier, the only problem is, I can't get player offsetting to work, could you supply me with a script demonstrating how to use it?

You may want to make the player (camera) unable to be harmed during the helicopter flight or we may have a problem if the player has an Out-of-Body-Experience during a zombie invasion XD Also could be a problem if you land a helicopter in one place and the player comes out another.

Actually, player health isn't a problem, since the helicopter respawns at the player when the player dies.
