Hello dear Folks,

First of all i am not criticising this awesome tool, GUI-X9. It`s so good that i purchased the PRO Version.

But i think it is a lot buggy, and also i don`t think the fault is on my side, because i made a fresh install of FPSC and updated it to the last beta.

Some bugs:

1- First of all the numeric huds for the health counter and ammo counter they show a bit pixelated. The numbers don`t show a good transparency. They look like low quality transparent gifs with indexed alpha channel

2- After i press [ESC] to open the pause menu, the game seems to lag a little (i tested on the simple.fpm).

3- The load game page does not show the loading bar progress. I have let all the changed gui scripts (setuplevel.fpi,...), but used the normal loadingpage.fpi instead of the loadingpage changed by the GUI-X. Result: the loading bar appeared however did not worked (there was not a progressing bar animation).

4- The options menu don`t work with me. When i click on the option button it opens the option menu, but whenever i change anything in it, in example, when i change the resolution (and any other option), i open the level, but it shows nothing but a dark screen. It does not load the level correclty after i change any option.

5- After the visual layout editor that really makes a lot easier the position on the hud (but i still prefeer edit the FPI`s directly using the FPI Edit Pad), i think the most notable features of GUI-X9 is the possibility to have a hover button effect (diferent image when mouse is over a button) and the animated mouse cursor. Because the option menus don`t work as it should be.

Any Comments?

Cheers,

007.

I think that other persons are having the same problems i am having with GUI:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=190129&b=21

The last post is exactly the same problem of mine.

The creator of GUI-X9 did not released any tutorials?

Thanks,

007.
