I must say that i was worried the program would not be that great being restricted to 2d .....but once i tried it and tested some of the demos and made one of my own its very impressive indeed!

Im excited to see it registers tilt of your device as well as makes use of virtual joysticks and buttons....All of this realy sold it for me.

Then i started playing around with the particles and wow! Amazing!

So anyways very cool and my only regreat was that i didnt show support earlier by purchasing it sooner.

Quick question on doing a nice looking 3d parallex look.

I have about 8 layers on the floor part of this demo i made.... but is the resources too much to continue or is there a better way to fake a 3d scene?

If im on the right track i will continue building my space scene i guess.

Any feed back would be great thanks.

Also i have an idea for doing animated sprite cubes that animate as they scroll by to look 3d....i think its crazy enough to actualy work.

Edit: FYI there are no restrictions to the space guy....he will fly out of the scene if you take him there.

Tested on asus EeePc Slate Tablet windows 7....works great....like a huge arcade controller.

AGK will handle more that 8 layers with ease. Don't worry (except if you run your game on a very low end device i think)

It's already a great work that you've done. The parallax 3D is well done and well synchronized

But take care about the space guy 3D position in depth (maybe it's normal but for me i find it strange).

Keep up !

yes the depth was not finalized as im still just working on the background to look as 3d as possible.

And thanks

Another q?

I tested it on an ipod 2nd generation....with the Agk stream player..... is it going to run faster if it was actualy approved in the itunes store? Can i expect the lag to be from my network? or is a second generation ipod too slow?

IPod AppGameKit Viewer i think .. or AppGameKit Player

I think you've used the AppGameKit viewer which only stream the video of the game into the device (because apple refuses an app which can receive executable code). The AppGameKit viewer retrieves all device movements and resend them to AppGameKit IDE.

So the lag is "normal" with AppGameKit Viewer. Search for the "AGK Player Service" in the iOS forum (or maybe this forum). You will learn how to use the real AppGameKit interpreter for iOS and then your apps will run a lot faster don't worry

yes i was trying the viewer.

thats good to know....at least with the viewer you can test to see how the application looks.

just an idea....but can the viewer be setup to skip frames so it will run faster over the network? Instead of being smooth and slow....

that would be cool.
